Our office is tucked away in Shivmurti Gali, right behind Gujraat Bhawan in the Gopidham area. It’s a bit of a narrow lane, but most people know the way once they get to the main street. We do travel consultancy, which is basically a way of saying we sit down with you and help plan out your trips. Many people come to Haridwar not knowing how to get to the higher temples or what the road conditions are like in the rainy season. We share what we know from living here all these years. It’s a simple office, nothing very polished about it. We usually have a pot of tea going and some maps spread out on the table. We don't use any high-tech systems, just our own notes and the experience we’ve gathered over time. The Gali gets very crowded in the afternoons, but that’s just life in Haridwar. We stay open until late because that is when most travelers have finished their prayers and are looking to figure out what to do the next morning. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we do a lot of things by hand. It’s just a small team of us trying to keep things organized. We try to be helpful to everyone who walks through the door, whether they are booking a long trip or just asking for directions to the nearest ghat.
