We run Mywaytrips Dot Com out of a small setup in Preet Vihar Colony in Roorkee. Even though the name sounds like a big website, we are just a local team working from this neighborhood. Roorkee is a nice place to be based, and being in Preet Vihar keeps us close to the local community. We spend a lot of our time on our laptops, looking up flight prices and checking on bus schedules for people. It is a lot of staring at screens, but we also talk to travelers all day long. Some people want to go to the mountains while others are looking for a beach, and we try to find something that fits. We do not have a big corporate office with glass walls; it is more like a home office where the tea is always brewing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back online, but that is just life in Roorkee. We try to be honest about what a place is like so nobody gets a bad surprise when they arrive. We have seen a lot of changes in how people travel over the years.
