Amazing Chutti Travels

You can find us over in Rani Gali in the Bhoopatwala area. We call ourselves Amazing Chutti Travels, but mostly we are just a few people sitting behind desks with too many phones ringing at once. Being in Haridwar, it gets really hectic during the pilgrimage seasons or when there’s a long weekend. The office is small and usually has a few people standing around waiting for their tickets or asking about bus timings. We have maps pinned to the walls and a few old calendars that we never bothered to take down. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of the day talking to drivers and checking hotel availability. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to apologize to people while we wait for the screen to load. It can be stressful when a train is cancelled and we have to find a new way for someone to get home. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find us just by walking down the street or hearing about us from a neighbor. We just try to get people to their destinations without too much trouble. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of paperwork, but that’s the nature of travel work in a place like this. We just keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
