Roorkee Travels

Our place is at number 1, Ram Nagar, right there on the Dehradun Road. It’s a busy spot in Roorkee because everyone going towards the hills passes by here. We have been operating from this corner for a long time now. The building is old but it stays cool in the summer. We mostly arrange cars for people heading up to Dehradun or coming back this way. It’s just a standard travel office with a few desks and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We don't do anything too complicated. If someone needs a vehicle, they call us or walk in from the street. The traffic on Dehradun Road can be quite loud, so we usually have the door shut. My brother helps out with the booking side of things. We know the routes around here like the back of our hands. It's not a corporate office with fancy uniforms. We wear what we want and talk to people plainly. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the cars go by. Other days, the phone won't stop ringing and we have to scramble to find enough drivers. That's just how the travel business works in a town like Roorkee. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the wheels turning for the local people who need a way to get around. It's just a regular daily job for us here.
