We are over at Hotel Prem Bihari, which is right by the Niranjani Akhara in the Akhara Mayapur area of Haridwar. It’s a pretty busy spot, especially when there are religious events going on at the Akhara. We’ve been helping people get around for quite a few years now. It’s mostly just us handling the car bookings and suggesting routes for people who want to see the local sights or head up into the hills. We don't have a fancy corporate office, just our desk here at the hotel. Haridwar is a place with a lot of energy, and we see all sorts of people coming through. Sometimes the traffic is a real mess, especially near the bridges, so we spend a lot of time on the phone with our drivers to see where they are. We try to be as straightforward as possible about timings and costs because nobody likes surprises when they are on a trip. If a car is going to be late because of a procession, we’ll just tell you. It’s just part of living and working in a pilgrimage city. Most of our day is spent talking to guests and trying to figure out the best way to get them to where they need to go without too much trouble. We know the local area well and just want to do a decent job for the people who stop by.
