You can find us on the street where Chitra Cinema is located in Sharvan Nath Nagar, right near the SBI. We do a mix of things here, handling both communication services and travel needs. It started out because people would come in for a phone recharge or to make a call and then they’d ask if we knew a reliable driver for a trip to Rishikesh or the mountains. So, we just started helping them out with that too. Our shop is quite small and it’s usually pretty loud outside because of all the traffic and people going to the movies. We aren't a big corporate agency with a lot of staff. It’s just us at the counter. We know most of the local drivers and which ones actually show up on time. Haridwar is a place where knowing the local people really helps get things done. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between travelers and the vehicles. Sometimes the weather in the hills changes things quickly, and we have to shuffle the plans around. We try to keep it simple and honest. If we can’t find a car for a certain time, we’ll say so. People seem to appreciate that more than being told something that isn’t true. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for a long time and we like being right in the middle of all the action on Chitra Cinema Street.
