We have been here in Durga Nagar for a good while now. It’s a quiet part of Bhupatwala, away from the main rush of Haridwar but close enough to the hills. Goswami Tour And Travel is just a small office where we handle the bookings and talk to people who come by. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially during the pilgrimage seasons, but we manage. We spend most of our days answering phones and making sure the drivers know where to go. It is a simple setup. My desk is usually covered in papers and some old tea cups. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few chairs for people to sit while we figure out the routes. I remember when we first started, there were hardly any shops around this street. Now it’s getting busier every year. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the last call is finished. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we have to write everything down in the big register. That register has been with us for years. It’s got coffee stains on the edges, but it holds all the information we need. People come in looking for cars or bus tickets, and we just try to help them get where they need to go without too much fuss. It is just daily work for us. We know the roads around here quite well.
