Wendy School Junior College

Wendy School Junior College is over on Gandhi Road in Satyedev Nagar. It’s a bit different from a regular school because the students are older, so the vibe is a little more relaxed but also a bit more serious in some ways. Gandhi Road is a busy stretch, and Satyedev Nagar has a lot going on. There’s a lot of coming and going throughout the day. The building isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose. We have a few labs and rooms that are always busy. The corridors are often filled with students standing around and talking during their free periods. It can get quite loud, but that’s just part of having a college on a main road. The furniture is the basic kind—sturdy and functional. We have a small notice board that’s always overloaded with papers pinned on top of each other. The office staff is usually busy with admissions or exams, and there’s always a queue of students wanting something. It’s a very human place. We have a water cooler that everyone congregates around when it’s hot. The trees outside give a bit of character to the street view. It’s a place where you come to do your work and move on to the next thing. We don’t have any big slogans on the walls; we just have the daily schedule and the hope that the power stays on all afternoon while we work.
