Prerna Academy

Prerna Academy is located in Vastra Nagar, in the Roshni area. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, which is good for the students who come here to study. We have a few rooms set up with basic benches and desks where the daily lessons take place. We aren't a massive institution, just a local academy where we focus on getting through the syllabus every year. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few schedules and maybe a map or two. We spend our days preparing notes and helping kids understand their lessons. It’s a straightforward process. In the afternoons, the place gets quite lively when the main groups of students arrive after their regular school hours. We don't have a fancy reception or high-tech gadgets, just some good old-fashioned books and whiteboards. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind as long as the work gets finished. Being in Roshni, we are easy to find for families living in Vastra Nagar. We started this place because we wanted to offer something useful for the local community, and we’ve just kept at it since then. It’s a small, humble setup, but it serves its purpose. We keep the place clean, make sure there’s enough chalk or markers, and wait for the students to arrive. That’s how life goes for us.
