Bhagat Ji Food Product

Bhagat Ji Food Product is tucked away in Jagdish Mandir Gali, which is right in the middle of Daal Bajar in Lashkar. It’s a very old part of the city, and the lanes are narrow. If you aren't familiar with the area, you might get a bit lost finding us the first time. The market is always crowded with people buying lentils and other groceries. There is a lot of shouting and the sound of carts being pushed over the stones. Our shop is small and smells like dried goods and spices. We have been here in Lashkar for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk by every day. The temple nearby, Jagdish Mandir, brings in a lot of folks on certain days, so it gets even more packed then. Inside, we have shelves piled high with our food products. There isn't much room to move around once a few people are inside. We usually keep the front shutters open to let in some air, though it mostly just lets in the market noise. It’s a busy life in Daal Bajar. We spend our time weighing items and talking to the regulars. The walls have some old paint peeling off, but it doesn't bother anyone. It’s just a traditional way of doing business in a place that has been around for generations. We don't have fancy lights, just enough to see the scales and the bags we are filling.
