Reema Hotel

If you’re ever walking down Bazar Road in Guwahati, you’ll see Reema Hotel right there. It’s at 1, Reema Hotel, 781001. We’ve been here for quite some time, serving as a spot for people to stop by. It isn't one of those big fancy hotels you see in the magazines. It’s a more humble place where things are a bit old but functional. The kitchen starts getting busy early in the morning, and the smell of tea and cooking fills the air. Guwahati can be a very humid place, and Bazar Road is always crowded with people buying and selling things. We have a few rooms and a place where people can sit and eat. The furniture has seen better days, and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. I spend a lot of my time making sure the supplies are fresh and that the staff knows what they are doing. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running every day. People come from all over to the bazar, and many of them end up sitting here for a bit to rest their feet. We don’t have any grand decorations or anything like that. It’s just a basic hotel where people can get what they need. It’s a busy life on Bazar Road, and we are just a small part of it. I usually spend my evenings tallying up the books before calling it a day.
