Hotel Nandan

Being right on G.S. Road in Paltan Bazar means we are right in the middle of everything. It is never really quiet here, even late at night. You can hear the buses and the people shouting down near the station. Hotel Nandan is a place for people who need to be near the transport hubs. We see a lot of folks coming off the trains who just want to lie down for a few hours. The building is tall and we have quite a few rooms. They aren't decorated with expensive art or anything. We just have simple curtains and sturdy furniture that can handle a lot of use. The floor is easy to sweep, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the street. Our staff knows most of the regular guests by name because they come back every time they have a meeting in the city. We don't have a big restaurant, but there are plenty of places to eat just a few steps from the door. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains hard, but usually, it is okay. We spend our mornings checking the water tanks and making sure the laundry is moving along. It is a lot of work to keep up with the pace of Paltan Bazar, but we have been doing it for years now. It’s just a regular life for us here at the hotel.
