If you know Fancy Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. Laxmi Steels is right in the middle of it, inside Ganpati Plaza and not far from Hotel Regal View. It’s a busy part of town, always full of people haggling and moving goods around. Our space in the plaza is filled with the smell of metal and the sound of the market outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just stacks of steel and a small area where we handle the billing and talk to customers. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Some days are loud and hectic, with deliveries coming in and out, and other days we’re just waiting for the next person to walk in. It’s a practical business. We deal in steel, so there isn’t much room for being soft or corporate. We just give people the prices, show them what we have, and get the orders sorted. Being near Hotel Regal View helps people find us in the maze of the plaza. We’re used to the heat and the noise of the bazar. It’s just how things are here. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. We just open up, sell our steel, and close up when the market winds down for the day. It is hard work, but we are used to the routine of this place and the people who shop here.
