You can find Grihashakti Steels (P) Ltd. over at Commerce House on A.T. Road. Being on such a main road means we see everything that happens in the market from our spot in room 301. The building itself is quite busy with different businesses, but we have made our little space comfortable enough to spend the whole day in. Steel is a heavy business, but a lot of what we do here is the coordination and the paperwork that keeps the actual metal moving from one place to another. A.T. Road is always thick with dust and noise from the trucks, so coming into the office is a bit of a relief from all that chaos outside. We don’t have a flashy showroom or anything like that. It is just a regular office where we sit with our registers and calculators. Most of the time, we are busy on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on deliveries. It is hard work and the hours can be long when things get busy, but we have a good group of people here who know the trade well. We have been at this address for a while, so most of the local transporters and neighboring shop owners know exactly where to find us. It is just a standard day-to-day operation where we try to keep things moving without too much fuss or complication. We just focus on the task at hand and get things done.
