Our place is located at A- 873 in Sushant Lok 1. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. Yards And Inches Academy Private Limited started because we saw a need for real practical learning in this field. We aren’t a huge school with hundreds of staff. It’s a smaller setup where we actually get to know the people who walk in. When you come by, you’ll see we spend a lot of time looking at plans and talking through how things are built. Measuring things out is a big part of what we do, hence the name. It’s hands-on work. The office has plenty of light, which helps when you are squinting at fine lines all day. We have been in this part of town for a bit and seen the neighborhood grow around us. People sometimes get lost looking for the house number, but once they find us, they usually stay for a good while to learn. We don't use big fancy words for what we teach. It's just about getting the measurements right and understanding the space you are working with. The chairs are comfortable, and the kettle is usually on. We find that learning happens better when everyone is relaxed and not feeling like they are in a stuffy corporate room. It is just a regular academy trying to do a good job for the students who want to know about dimensions and design. It’s a simple place for a solid education.
