We are located down Lane No.-6 in Om Nagar, right across from the Balaji Mandir. If you know the Khandsa Road area, you’ve probably passed by our turnoff many times. Wide Concepts Furniture & Fittings Pvt. Ltd. is basically a workshop and a small office space where we handle all our wood and metal work. It’s a dusty place because of all the cutting and sanding, but that’s just part of the furniture business. We hear the temple bells from across the street every day, which is a nice break from the sound of our saws. The lane can get pretty narrow if a big truck is trying to pass through, so it’s always a bit of a scramble. We’ve got a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for a long time. We aren't into big corporate meetings or anything like that. We just look at the drawings, get the materials ready, and start building. The floor is usually covered in sawdust by noon. We take our lunch breaks together under the shade when it’s hot out. Customers usually come in with sketches or just an idea of what they need for their houses. We talk it through and see what can be done with the space they have. It’s a practical job. We like the feeling of finishing a piece and seeing it loaded onto the back of a tempo.
