Nihal Painter

My name is Nihal and I’ve been running this painting shop for a long time. We are at number 3 in Manjeet Market. If you are on Old Delhi Road, you can see us right across from the HDFC Bank in Sector 14. It’s a good spot to be in because everyone knows the bank. I started out just doing small jobs here and there and eventually got this space. It’s not a big company or anything. It is just me and a couple of guys who help out when things get busy. We do all sorts of painting work. Sometimes it is writing names on doors and other times it is bigger signs for the local shops in Manjeet Market. We use regular brushes and paint mostly. It gets messy and my clothes usually have some spots on them by the end of the day. We don't have a website or a salesperson. People just walk in or call me up because they saw my work somewhere else in Sector 14. We try to be fair and do a decent job so people come back to us later. The market can get pretty crowded during the day but we are always here at the shop. We just stick to what we know and try to get the work out the door on time without any fuss. It's how we've always done things and how we will continue.
