You can find Vinod Kiryana Store inside the Sant Lal Market in Toda Pur, which is part of Hailey Mandi. It is a tight market with lots of little shops all lined up. We have been in this spot for a long time. My father used to run things, and now I handle the daily work. We sell all the basic kitchen items like pulses, sugar, tea leaves, and cooking oil. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes and sacks. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. Every morning, I sweep the front and arrange the bins of grains so people can see what is fresh today. We don't use any fancy scanners or computers; I just write everything down in a thick ledger book with a pen. Most of our customers are locals from Toda Pur who have been coming to us for years. They know we have the regular brands they like for their daily meals. Sometimes we get a big delivery and the whole front of the shop gets blocked by sacks of flour. It takes a few hours to get everything stacked properly against the back wall. It's a lot of lifting and moving, but that is just how a kiryana store works.
