Our office is in House Number 1284 on the first floor in Sector 17C. Gurgaon is a massive place with huge glass buildings, but we are in a more settled, residential-feeling part. Being in Sector 17C is quite convenient because it’s not as chaotic as the newer sectors can be. We have the whole first floor for our engineering work. At Vascon Engineers, we don't really care for the high-rise corporate life. We prefer this kind of setup where we can actually open a window and see some trees. The office is where we do all the boring but necessary stuff like payroll and planning the next phase of our builds. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel to it. You’ll see rolls of drawings leaning against the walls and boots near the door. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. We just show up and get to it. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we're doing with all the maps, but we just keep to ourselves. The lunch break usually involves walking down to the local market area to grab something quick. Sector 17 is pretty well-connected, which helps when we need to rush out to a project site in Manesar or Delhi. It’s a practical location for us. We've been here long enough that the local delivery guys know us by name. It’s just a steady, daily grind of making sure the engineering side of things stays on track. It's okay.
