So, we are based out in Gurgaon. It’s a big, fast-moving city with a lot of noise, but our corner is a bit more grounded than the rest of it. We spend our days working on different designs and pieces. It’s a creative mess in here most of the time. You’ll find rolls of fabric, different colored threads, and scraps of material scattered all over the work tables. We don’t have a massive factory; it’s more of a workshop where we can actually see what’s happening at every step. Some of the people working here have been with us since the very beginning. We talk a lot while we work, usually about what’s going on at home or a movie someone saw over the weekend. Gurgaon has all these high-rise buildings and fancy malls, but we’re just a small outfit trying to make things that look decent. Sometimes a design doesn't work out like we thought it would and we have to start all over again. That can be a bit frustrating, but it’s just part of the daily process. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Most of our work comes from people hearing about us from someone else. It gets really busy during the festive seasons, and we end up staying late to finish up the orders. We like what we do, even when our fingers get a bit tired from all the stitching and detail work. It’s a simple life for us.
