Uppal'S Orchid Hotel, New Delhi

Even though the name says New Delhi, we are actually based out of House No 1080-A in Maruti Vihar. That is over in Chakkarpur, Gurgaon. It is a residential kind of area with a lot of houses close together. We have a landline, 0124-2354473, and a mobile number that stays busy most of the day. The office is set up inside the house. It's a bit different from a regular commercial building, but it works for us. We have our computers and files set up in the main rooms. Maruti Vihar is a decent place to be, and the pin code is 122002. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages. There’s a small garden area out front where we sometimes take a break. It's not a corporate headquarters with a lobby. It's just a practical space where we handle all the business for the hotel. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. We've been using this setup for quite a while now. We keep things simple here. There's no need for fancy office suits; we just wear regular clothes and get to work. We know the local shops around Chakkarpur well for when we need supplies or a quick snack. It’s a quiet way to run things, away from the main city traffic. We just keep our focus on the daily tasks and make sure the phone gets answered when it rings.
