If you head down to Sector-8 in IMT Manesar, you’ll find us at Plot No. 353 in Phase-4, specifically at number 433 in Udyog Vihar. This area is always packed with people and vehicles. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric and the constant hum of sewing machines. It can get quite cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for all the materials. The light in the workspace is bright so we can see the stitches clearly. We don't have a fancy showroom here; it is mostly just the production floor and some racks where the finished pieces hang. Our coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the office. We take turns making rounds of tea for the staff in the afternoons. The walls have pictures of different designs pinned up with tacks. Sometimes the thread gets everywhere, and we find little bits of it on our clothes long after we've left for the day. Manesar has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but once we’re inside the gates, we just get to work. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just cut, sew, and pack. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We keep the machines running and make sure the boxes are labeled correctly for the trucks.
