Twist Potato

We are Twist Potato, and you can find us right on MG Road. It’s a very busy street, as anyone in Gurgaon knows. We basically have a small stall there. It’s not a big shop with a door and windows, just a spot on the road where we set up. We spend most of our time cutting and frying potatoes. It sounds simple, but it keeps us busy all day. MG Road always has people walking by, so there’s never a quiet moment. We see all sorts of people, from shoppers to folks heading to the metro. The noise from the traffic is constant, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have much space to sit, so people usually just grab their food and keep walking. It’s a very casual setup. We try to keep things moving fast because nobody likes waiting on a crowded sidewalk. The weather can be a problem sometimes, especially when it rains, but we manage with our little cover. We aren’t trying to be a fancy restaurant. We just serve this one thing and try to do it right every time. It’s been a good experience being on MG Road. You meet a lot of different people every day. We just hope they enjoy their snack while they walk. It's a lot of standing and heat from the oil, but we just get on with it.
