Out here on the Delhi - Jaipur Highway, things are always moving fast. We spend most of our days at the facility in Village Kherki - Daula. It is a big operation, but for those of us working on the floor, it just feels like any other job. You hear the trucks going by all day long and the smell of the spices and snacks is always in the air. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much, especially in the summer months, but that is just how it is in this part of the country. We deal with a lot of machinery and making sure everything is packed correctly before it goes out on those big lorries. It’s a lot of standing and watching the lines move. Most of us live nearby or commute from the city, so the 122001 area is very familiar. We don't spend much time worrying about the corporate side of things; we just focus on the bins and the bags in front of us. It is hard work, and the shifts can be long, but it’s a steady way to make a living. You get used to the rhythm of the machines after a while. It’s just us doing our part to keep the supply going while the highway traffic never seems to stop.
