Nathus Sweets

You can find us over in Sector 10 of Gurgaon, right on Pataudi Road. Nathus Sweets is pretty much directly across from the Government School there. It’s a lively spot, especially when the kids are getting out of class and looking for something sweet. We’ve been sitting on this corner for a bit, watching the neighborhood change. Our shop is full of glass counters and the smell of sugar. We make all the usual stuff you’d expect from a local sweet shop. Sometimes it gets really crowded during the festival seasons, and we all have to work extra hours just to keep the shelves full. It’s not a quiet job. We are always packing boxes of laddoos or barfis for someone’s party or a small gathering at home. The staff knows most of the regulars who live in the sector. It’s nice to see familiar faces every morning. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. People just know we are here because of the location near the school. It’s a straightforward business. We show up early, start the big milk vats, and get to work. If you are walking down Pataudi Road, you can’t really miss us. We just try to keep things clean and the food fresh for whoever stops by. It takes a lot of effort to keep the floors swept and the counters shining when there is so much foot traffic coming in and out all day long. We just do our work and go home.
