The Lemon Tree Hotel, Udyog Vihar

Our hotel is located at 866, Udyog Vihar, Phase V. This is the industrial and corporate side of Gurgaon, so the atmosphere is very different from the malls or residential areas. Everything around here is about work. The Lemon Tree Hotel here is surrounded by big office buildings and factories. We see a lot of people who are here for work assignments, often staying for a few days at a time. The traffic in Udyog Vihar can be a bit of a headache, especially in the mornings and when everyone leaves at five or six. We’ve learned to work around it. Our staff is used to the corporate crowd. We keep the place clean and functional because that’s what people need when they’re traveling for business. There’s no point in being overly fancy when people just want a good night’s sleep and a decent meal before a long day of meetings. We spend a lot of time on maintenance since the dust from the roads can be a bit much in this part of town. It’s a busy life here in Phase V. We just focus on the basics and try to make things easy for whoever is staying with us. It’s a regular hotel run by regular people who know how Gurgaon works. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the guests are sorted out before they head to their offices. It's a solid, reliable place.
