Swastik Tutors

We are based in Sushant Lok Phase I, specifically at Ss 52. It’s a residential area, so it is usually pretty quiet around our place. We started Swastik Tutors because there were so many parents nearby looking for extra help for their kids. We don’t have a giant office or anything. It’s more of a home-based feel where we coordinate different teachers and students. Sometimes we have kids coming here for lessons, and other times we send tutors out to their houses. The living room often has stacks of textbooks and notebooks piled up on the side tables. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to parents about grades and schedules. It gets a bit hectic around exam time, with everyone calling at once to get extra sessions. We’ve been doing this for a while now, so we know most of the families in the neighborhood. It’s a simple operation. We aren’t a big corporation with fancy brochures or salesmen. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends or neighbors about us. We just try to find the right person to help each student with whatever subject they are struggling with at the time. It is rewarding when we hear that a kid did well on a test or got into a good college. We just keep things moving, one lesson at a time, from our little corner of Sushant Lok.
