Suraj Bhan General Store

If you live around Sector 52 in Indira Colony Two, you probably know Suraj Bhan General Store. We are just a local shop that stocks the basic things people need every day. There isn't a lot of space inside, so we have to stack the boxes pretty high. You might have to squeeze past a crate of milk or a bag of rice to get to the back. We've been here for years, watching the kids in the colony grow up. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot something for dinner. We don't have fancy scanners or a big staff. It's usually just one or two of us handling the counter and trying to remember where we put the extra soap. The street outside can get a bit crowded, but that's just life in Indira Colony. We keep the doors open from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles for a bit. It’s just a normal store for normal people. We don't do any advertising. People just know we are here because we've always been here. We talk about the weather or the local news while we bag things up. It’s not a big business, just our way of making a living and being part of the neighborhood. We are just glad to be here.
