Studio 1 Architect

Being up in Sun City Business Tower at Sector 54 means we deal with a lot of elevators and office corridors. We are in unit 610, so the view of Golf Course Road is right there. It’s a busy part of Gurgaon, especially with the Rapid Metro station so close by. You can hear the trains every few minutes if you listen for them. Studio 1 Architect is mostly a room full of desks and samples. We have stacks of tiles and wood pieces leaning against the walls in the corners. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. The morning rush on the road outside is something we’ve gotten used to over time. Usually, the office smells like coffee and old paper. We spend a lot of our time going back and forth between our desks and the site visits, so the office can feel a bit empty in the middle of the day. The Sun City building is pretty large, so it took us a while to get settled in. Most of the other units are different kinds of businesses, so there’s always a mix of people in the lobby. We prefer staying in and working on the technical stuff when the weather is too hot outside. It’s a solid place to work from, even if the commute through Gurgaon traffic can be a bit of a headache some days.
