M K Architecture

M K Architecture is based out of Ashok Vihar, specifically at E-12/1. This is a residential and commercial mix, so it feels very local and grounded. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where all the planning happens. We spend a lot of time on site visits and then come back here to put everything on paper. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main city center, which helps when we need to concentrate on complicated blueprints. We have a few drafting tables and some old chairs that we probably should have replaced a long time ago. It’s a small operation. We handle various building projects, mostly for people around here or word-of-mouth stuff. There is no big corporate strategy here. We just take on the work that comes our way and try to do an honest job with it. If someone needs a house planned or a small renovation, we sit down and sketch it out. You can usually find us here from early morning until the sun goes down. We drink a lot of chai and talk about construction costs. It’s a practical way to spend the day. Being in Ashok Vihar means we know the local shops and the people around. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and it’s become our second home. We just keep our heads down and keep drawing until the task is finally finished for the client.
