Snax Point

Over here in Sangam Vihar, specifically Street 7 near Govindpuri and Kalkaji, life moves pretty fast. Our little shop, Snax Point, is at 805-A and it is usually a hub of activity. We start frying things up early because people around here are always on the move. The street is quite narrow and you have to be careful when walking. We have a counter where we put out the fresh snacks as they come out of the oil. It gets very hot near the stove, especially during the summer months. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit, so most just take their food in paper bags and keep walking. We see a lot of students and people living in the apartments nearby. The floor needs sweeping every hour because of all the foot traffic. We use a lot of potatoes and flour every single day. There is no big marketing plan here, just making food and selling it to whoever is hungry. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit and we have to put out some bricks for people to step on. It is just a simple life running a food point in a crowded neighborhood like this. We know the milkman and the bread guy really well since they come every morning.
