We've been at Phase 1 in Block H for a while now. It’s a quiet corner in DLF City, specifically 23/19. Usually, one of us is around tidying up the rolls of silk or helping someone find a specific color. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know their way around textiles. Silk N Fab isn't a massive mall store, it's more of a local spot where you can actually touch the material before you buy it. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, but we keep the doors open and get by. People come by when they need something for a wedding or just a nice shirt made. We spend most days checking the stock and making sure the shelves aren't a mess. It's not fancy, but we have what you see. We try to stay organized, but with so many fabrics, it gets cluttered fast. If you're walking around the neighborhood, you’ll see our sign. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We usually open up mid-morning and stay until the evening. If the lights are on, we’re probably inside folding something or talking to a regular. It’s just how we run things here. No big speeches, just fabrics and a bit of conversation. We’re easy to find once you get into Block H. The building is older, but it works for what we need.
