Shri Kheteshwrai Sweet Supplier

We run this local sweet shop over on Palam Vihar Road in the Ashok Vihar Phase 2 area. It’s been here for quite some time and we mostly serve the families who live nearby. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place with glass counters and some stools. We spend most of our mornings in the back getting the batches ready. It gets really hot near the stoves but that is just part of the job. During the festival months, things get pretty crazy around here. We have to stay up late just to make sure we don't run out of the popular items. People come in looking for boxes to give to their relatives. Sometimes the traffic out on the main road makes it hard for customers to park, but they still manage to find us. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their neighbors. My hands are usually covered in flour or syrup by noon. We have a few guys helping out behind the counter who know the regulars well. We try to keep the place tidy but with so much going on, it can get a bit messy during the rush. We just focus on making the sweets the way we always have. It’s a simple life and the work is hard, but it keeps us going. We hope to stay in Phase 2 for many more years to come.
