Shree Ram Pan & General Store

You can find Shree Ram Pan & General Store at G 9 in Qutab Plaza. Being in DLF City Phase I means we see a whole mix of people every day. Some are office workers looking for a quick cigarette or a piece of gum, and others are residents from the nearby apartments getting their groceries. We started out mostly focusing on the pan and small items, but over time we added more general store goods because people kept asking for them. Now we have shelves full of snacks, cold drinks, and basic household items. Qutab Plaza is a busy market, so there is always something going on outside our door. The space is small, but we make use of every inch. We stay open till late at night, often being one of the last shops to close the shutters. It is a lot of standing around and talking to customers. We do not have a big corporate backup or anything, it is just us running the show. Sometimes the fridge for the cold drinks acts up and we have to get it fixed quickly because nobody wants a warm soda in this heat. We try to keep things simple and just provide what the neighborhood needs. It is a good little spot and we have gotten to know many of the regulars who stop by every evening on their way home from the office. Life in Gurgaon is fast, but we try to keep things steady here.
