Our office is at S - 10/ 10 in DLF City Phase 3. Gurgaon is a fast place, but we try to keep things a bit more relaxed inside Sanjiv Tandon Architects Pvt Ltd. We have several drawing boards and a lot of computers that stay on all day. The building is a standard Gurgaon structure, nothing too special from the outside. Inside, it is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and sketches lying around. We have some rolls of paper standing in the corners and pencils scattered on every surface. The lighting is okay, but we prefer the natural light from the windows when it’s not too bright out. We don't really go for that high-end corporate look. Most of our furniture is just practical stuff we’ve had for years. The coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the whole place. We spend a lot of time arguing over small details on a plan or just staring at the screen. It is quiet for the most part, except for the hum of the air conditioner. Being in the 122010 area means we are near a lot of other businesses, but we mostly just stick to our own space. We just work on what needs to be drawn and planned, day in and day out. It’s just how we do things here without any complicated management styles or big speeches. We have a couple of plants by the door that we sometimes forget to water, but they seem to be doing okay anyway.
