If you go down to Sadar Bazar near Sohna Chowk, you will find us right there on Railway Road. It is a very hectic part of town, always full of cars, rickshaws, and people rushing to get somewhere. We have been operating Samrat Sweet from this spot for a good while. The shop is situated right in the middle of all that daily chaos. Every day is a bit of a gamble with how many people will actually walk in. We spend our time prepping the dough and checking the sugar levels in the kitchen. It is not a glamorous job at all, and your clothes always end up smelling like fried snacks and syrup by the end of your shift. We see all sorts of people coming through, some from the railway station and others from the local market. Some are in a big hurry and just grab something quickly to go, while others want to stand and chat for a bit. We do not have a fancy office or a big team of managers. All the decisions are made right here behind the counter. Sometimes we get the quantities wrong and have to make more food in a rush, which can be quite stressful when the shop is full. The kitchen gets really warm in the summer months, but that is just part of the trade we chose. We just want to keep the shop open and the shelves stocked.
