Ruaab Hotels and Resorts is run from a house in Sector 10A, Gurgaon. It’s number 1732A, right behind the Cambridge School. It’s a bit of a different setup than those big glass office buildings, but it works for us. We like the feel of being in a neighborhood. We’ve been here for some time now, focusing on our hotel and resort projects. It’s mostly just us sitting around the table, planning things out and making sure the properties are doing okay. There is always something to do, whether it's checking on maintenance or sorting out the accounts. We aren't a big, fancy company with a lot of layers. It’s just a few of us who know each other well. Sometimes it gets a little loud when we're all talking at once, but that's how we get things done. We don't really go for the corporate lifestyle. We prefer just being direct and getting to the point. Sector 10A is a good spot, and having the school nearby makes it easy to find. We spend most of our day on the phone or working on the computer. It’s honest work and we enjoy the hospitality business, even when it’s tiring. We just try to keep things moving forward one day at a time without making a big fuss about it. It’s a simple, local operation.
