About Pushpa Rani Ahluwalia – Safety & Security in Gurugram
I run things from H.No. 42, B/18 in Friends Colony. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main markets. Living and working from the same house means there isn't much of a commute, which is nice. Most of the day is spent at the desk or handling things over the phone. Being in Friends Colony, we have a lot of neighbors who stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. It’s a very personal way of doing business. The office is really just a spare room that I’ve turned into a workspace. It’s got my computer, some filing cabinets, and a lot of notebooks scattered around. There isn't any big staff or fancy reception area here. If the doorbell rings, it’s usually just me who goes to answer it. It’s a quiet way to get things done without the pressure of a big office building. Sometimes the garden outside gets a bit overgrown when I'm too busy with work, but that's just how it goes. I’ve lived in this house for a long time, so the business feels like it’s just a part of the daily routine now. It’s simple and it works for what I need to do. People find me through word of mouth mostly, and I like keeping it that way. It keeps the work honest and manageable without needing to be anything bigger than it is. The tea kettle is always on if a neighbor needs to chat.
