New Pancholi General Store

Railway Road is always a bit chaotic. Our shop, New Pancholi General Store, is right in the middle of it on New Railway Road. It’s the kind of place where you stop for things you forgot you needed. We’ve got shelves full of stuff. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We put out the boxes and clear some space so people can walk in. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. Being on Railway Road means there’s always something happening outside. You hear the horns and the people talking all day long. We don’t have any big signs or anything like that. Just the name over the door. People from the neighborhood come by for their daily bits and pieces. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and organizing the stock. Sometimes the inventory takes longer than we think it will. We just stay here and keep things moving. New Pancholi General Store isn’t a big corporate thing. It’s just us. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even have to ask where things are anymore. They just walk in and grab what they need. It’s a simple life. The floors are a bit worn down from all the walking, but that’s okay. It shows the shop is being used. We are just here on New Railway Road, doing what we do every single day.
