We open the shutters pretty early here in Sector 10a. Gurgaon Village has changed a lot over the years, but this spot stays mostly the same. Usually, the first thing people notice is the smell of frying or the syrup. We don't have fancy lights or anything. Just a counter and some benches. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise when it gets really hot in the afternoon. People stop by on their way to work or when they’re heading home to grab something for the family. It gets crowded on festival days, which is just how it goes. The floor gets a bit dusty from the street outside because there's always construction or something happening nearby. We just keep making the batches and putting them out. Most of our regulars have been coming here for a long time. They don't even have to say what they want half the time, we just know. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the traffic picks up outside. We keep the milk boiling and the trays full. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, especially if it’s a weekend. You just walk in, pick what you need, and that’s about it. We’ve got the usual stuff you’d expect to find in a shop like this. It’s just us working through the day, making sure the glass cases are wiped down and the orders are packed up. Nothing too complicated really. Just a local shop in the village doing what we do every day.
