Ladder Foodcart Llp is at 421 City Cooperative Housing Society in Sector 55. It is a residential area, so we have to be careful about not making too much noise. We manage food carts from here. It is not a typical office. We have a lot of paperwork related to the carts and the people who run them. The society is quite large and there are many blocks. We use a couple of rooms for our administrative stuff. Sometimes the carts are parked nearby for maintenance or cleaning. We deal with the vendors and the supplies they need. It is a lot of coordinating over the phone. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us handling the daily chores. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed compared to a downtown office. We see the neighbors going for walks or taking their kids to school while we are working. It is a very local feel. We have a schedule we try to follow, but things change if a cart breaks down or if a vendor is sick. We just take it as it comes. We have some charts on the wall to keep track of everything. It is a practical way to run a business. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. It is just a regular job for us and we stay busy.
