Kfc

So we are over here at Plot 31 in Sector 44. Most people know this part of Gurgaon is always moving. It is where Devyani International runs things. Honestly, it gets pretty loud in the kitchen most afternoons. We have the fryers going and the timers beeping all the time. It is not like those fancy offices you see down the road. It is just us getting the chicken ready. People come in from the nearby offices when they are hungry and tired. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the floors stay clean, though that is hard when it gets busy. Some days the delivery trucks arrive late and we have to scramble. It is just a regular job for us here in Haryana. We see the same faces often. The staff usually grabs a quick break in the back when things quiet down for twenty minutes. We have been at this spot for a while now. You can see the KFC sign from a distance. It is not always perfect, sometimes the AC struggles with the heat from the pressure cookers. But we just keep at it. Every morning starts with prep work and every night ends with a lot of scrubbing. That is how it goes at Sector 44. The traffic outside on the main road is always a mess, especially during rush hour when everyone is trying to get home. We just focus on what is happening inside these walls. It is a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the orders are right.
