You can find us at 180, Shivaji Gali, right on D.N. College Road. It is a lively area because of the students and the shops nearby. Kanhiya Food Industries Private Limited has been operating from here for a while. We are mainly into the food industry side of things. The street is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for us and the delivery guys. We start early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. Inside, it smells like whatever we are processing that day. It is a practical setup with machines and some storage area in the back. We have a small office tucked in a corner where the computer stays. The walls have some old calendars on them. We don't really do much decorating. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the machines work and what needs to be fixed. Sometimes the college kids walk by and look in. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood. We deal with bulk orders mostly. It is noisy during the day with the machines running and the horns outside on the main road. But we are used to it. We just get through the work and go home. There is no corporate vibe here at all, just people working. Some days are longer than others depending on how much we have to pack.
