K K Painting & Electricals

We are located over in Village Kanhai, which is basically Sector 45 now. The address is 533. It’s a bit of a mix here between the old village style and the newer buildings coming up around us. We do painting work and electrical jobs. Most of our work happens at other people's houses, but this is where we keep our ladders, wires, and paint tubs. It’s a simple setup. We started doing this because there was a lot of demand in the area with all the new construction. I usually have a couple of guys working with me. We aren't a big company with a fleet of vans. We just have our bikes and some basic tools. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook when there’s a power issue in the neighborhood or someone wants their flat repainted before a festival. Other times it's quiet and we just sit in the shop and organize the wire reels. The shop isn't much to look at, just a room with a desk and a lot of gear. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the people. We try to finish the jobs as they come. It's hard work, especially in the summer when it’s hot and you're up on a ladder. We just try to do right by the people who call us and keep things working.
