Musharat Interior Decorator

We run Musharat Interior Decorator out of a small place in Gurgaon Sector 56, over in the Wazirabad area at 242. It’s mostly just us surrounded by rolls of fabric and catalogs that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time looking at colors and trying to figure out what fits where. It’s not a big fancy design studio with glass walls. It’s more of a workspace where we actually get our hands into the materials. Sometimes the place is a total mess with swatches all over the floor, but that’s how we work best. Being in Sector 56 is good because we are close to where people are building things. We've been doing this for a while now, just helping folks figure out their curtains or how to make a room look less empty. We don't use any of those big words designers like to use. We just talk about what looks okay and what doesn't. Sometimes we're out at a site all day and the office is locked up. Other times we're here just drinking tea and drawing out ideas on scrap paper. It’s a quiet business for the most part. We like the local feel of Wazirabad. It’s home for us. We just keep doing our thing, one room at a time, without making a big deal out of it. There is always something new to look at or measure around here.
