Kanika Ksh Design House

Our place, Kanika Ksh Design House, is over at Plot-196 on the 2Nd Floor in Sector-56. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to the main markets, which is nice for focusing. We have a decent-sized space with a few large tables where we spread out our work. There are sketches and fabric scraps or papers scattered around most of the time. It doesn't look like those perfect studios you see in magazines. It’s a working space and it shows. We have a few machines and some storage racks against the walls. The light is pretty good during the day since we’re on the second floor. We don't have a receptionist, so if you come by, one of us will just look up from what we're doing. Sector-56 is easy to get to, and Plot-196 has a bit of parking out front. We spend most of our time just trying to get the details right on whatever we're making. It’s a lot of sitting and concentrating. We don't go in for big meetings or long-winded plans. We just take the work as it comes and try to stay organized. It’s a modest setup but it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels worn in and comfortable. Just a regular design house doing its daily tasks. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just like our space and our work here on the second floor.
