Jayanthi Nair Architects

Our office is located at House No. 924 in Sector-23A. We are right in Block F of Carterpuri Village. It is a quiet residential area, which is nice when you need to focus on a difficult drawing. Being in a house rather than a big glass building makes the whole thing feel a bit more personal. Jayanthi Nair Architects isn't some huge firm with a hundred people. It’s a smaller setup where we can actually hear ourselves think. We have been in this part of Gurugram for a good bit now. Sometimes people get a little lost trying to find us in Carterpuri, but once you find Block F, it’s easy enough. We spend our time working through the details of houses and local buildings. The village has its own character, and that definitely rubs off on how we think about design. It isn't always perfect; sometimes the office is a mess of papers and old blueprints. But that is how we work best. We don't have any scripted lines about what we see for the future. We just like to draw and plan things out. The light in the afternoons is really good here, which helps when we are looking at site plans. We are just local people doing our jobs in Haryana. It’s a pretty straightforward way to spend the day.
