Isha Handloom Cloth Emporium

We are located at number 6 in Krishna Market, right in the Sanjay Colony area of Chakarpur. Isha Handloom Cloth Emporium is what we call it, but most folks just say the handloom shop. We focus on traditional weaves and stuff that isn't made by big machines in a factory. It’s a small shop in a busy market, so it can get pretty loud outside with people shouting and bikes going by. Inside, we have stacks of hand-woven cloth. You can feel the difference in the texture. We aren't interior designers or fashion experts. We just know good cloth when we see it. The shop has been in the family for a bit, and we haven't changed much over the years. We still use the same old wooden counters. It’s a bit dark inside sometimes, but we like the atmosphere. We don't have a website or a social media page. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come to Chakarpur and find us in Krishna Market. We spend our time talking to weavers and making sure we have a good variety for the local people. It’s a steady life. We aren't looking to expand into a giant chain. We just like being part of the colony and providing something useful. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy through the week. There is always something to fold or count here.
