India Core

India Core is based in room 106 on the second floor of F Block in Palam Vyapar Kendra. It’s right in the middle of Ansal Palam Vihar in Gurgaon. The building is one of those big commercial hubs where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the courtyard below. It’s always full of people going to the shops or grabbing lunch. Our office is a bit cramped, honestly. We have bookshelves lined with reports and desks pushed close together. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at data. The hallways in the Vyapar Kendra can be a bit confusing if you aren't used to them, but we know every turn by heart. The elevator is usually slow, so we end up taking the stairs most of the time. It keeps us moving. During the summer, the hallways get pretty warm, but our little unit stays cool enough. We’ve got a small corner for a water cooler where we usually end up chatting for a few minutes between tasks. It’s a decent place to be if you like being around the energy of a busy market area. We don't have fancy furniture, just the stuff that works. We arrive, do the work, and head home like everyone else in Gurgaon. It is just our regular daily grind.
