I.H.G. Gurgaon

We are located at A-23 on the second floor of Southend Floors, right off Sohna Road. It’s a residential-style setup, so you have to walk up the stairs past the other neighbors to find us. Mr. Ramesh Thakur’s place is where we handle all the day-to-day business. Gurgaon has changed so much lately, with all the big glass buildings going up, but our spot is a bit more grounded than that. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through stacks of papers that seem to grow on the desks every week. It’s not a big open-plan office; it’s more like a few rooms where we’ve set up our computers and files. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just how it goes around here. We usually order lunch from the small shops nearby or bring tiffins from home. The balcony looks out over the street, so we see the traffic building up on Sohna Road every afternoon. It’s a quiet enough place to get things done without the noise of a huge commercial complex. We keep our own schedules mostly and try to stay on top of the work as it comes in. There’s nothing too special about the decor—just some old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us for years. It works for what we need to do on a daily basis without any unnecessary complications.
